You have five seconds to make a first impression. Author Malcolm Gladwell thinks it’s only two seconds. You need to put your best foot forward quickly !
A selfie or poor quality photo screams amateur. An inspired headshot evokes confidence. I cut my teeth working with actors and models whose depend on a great great first impression. Most photographers fall short on headshots because they are too caught up in the technical stuff and they forget about your personality.
You’ve seen them – headshots no expression often with either no retouching or plastic looking skin.
We don’t stop until we have you looking great showcasing your personality.
Our process is simple. First we discuss how you will use the headshots. I’ll help you decide the best location. Headshots can be photographed indoors on various backgrounds or outdoors. It depends on the mood and message you want.
During our photography session I evoke (provoke!) your personality and snap away using angles that work for you.
Typically I take 20-25 snaps of each look and provide you the proofs online. Headshot sessions are often one look for business headshots or two looks for actors and models.
After our session with 48 hours I upload the proofs to a private online gallery for you to review.
Once you decide your favorite photo from each look I professionally retouch the final image. My goal is you look like yourself on a great day not like a plastic doll.
Whether you are a student, businessperson, actor or looking for a partner your headshot will make others take notice.
Ladies if you are not proficient in doing your makeup or hair my professional artists will help bring out that inner glow.
A headshot should be refreshed at least every 2 years.
